Shawn is a published writer of literature, prose and journalism.  He has been recognized in the national press for his efforts in modern music and received a certificate of merit for songwriting and musicianship from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. He has a new album of material composed during two years of extensive travel through France, Japan, and all four corners of America with his band the Beauvilles. Entitled "The New Americana," it will be released in 2008 with international distribution. Kyle is a monthly columnist and staff writer for nationally-distributed Reax Music and Culture Magazine. Shawn currently resides in historic Tampa, Florida.
