Joe Howden has been a neighborhood and community activist  in Ybor City since 1991. He is the founder of the Historic Ybor Neighborhood Civic Association and served as the co-chair of the Ybor Coalition from 2000 to 2004. Joe currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Ybor City Development Corporation and as the Chairman of the Barrio Latino Commission.
